Cheering for Panthers in the Snow

Well, today is a snow day. Tim's office is closed too, so we are all home. We had quite an eventful evening last night. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Noring's to watch the UNI vs. Iowa basketball game (we don't get the local channel it was on with our dish). The mile drive to their house was okay, but we couldn't get into the driveway, so Tim had to get out and shovel. We finally made it and cheered the Panthers during the first half (we also enjoyed some WONDERFUL potato soup - thanks Rowena)! At half time we thought we had better head home, because the snow was still falling (and the Panthers were winning!). Unfortunately, we discovered that Tim's car had a flat tire. We had to take the Noring's van home. This was leaving Rowena without a car as Vaughn is out of town. We made it home just fine, but our driveway caused some problems again. Tim had to get out and push the van while I steered it into garage (don't worry, we took Aubrey inside first). We made it into the garage just fine. Although, the van barely fits. I think we have a total of four inches of clearance front to back. It was quite the trip to go cheer on the Panthers. I think it would have been a lot worse had we decided to go to Cedar Falls as originally planned. We all cheered for the Panther victory safely at home. Go Panthers!
