Our dear Lexi

Well, I guess not all blog news can be good news. We had a scary night last night. Lexi, our 3 year old dog, had a seizure. We rushed her to the emergency clinic and they dismissed it as nothing too serious (thank goodness). They wanted us to take her to our vet this morning to check her blood, etc. Tim took her in and the vet very kindly explained the causes and some things to do when she (maybe) has another seizure. Nothing is really wrong with her, but it sounds like it might be something we have to continue to deal with if she gets overstimulated. We are going to try to keep her calm - try being the key word. She is a very excitable and anxious dog, so this may be hard to do. The good news is that nothing is really wrong with her and the rest of us are doing well! It was good to see the family up north this weekend - Happy 50th Birthday again MOM!!
