Yesterday was a big day for Aubrey. She had many appointments that were not so fun. In the morning she went to get her tongue clipped. They numbed the area and then took a little scissors to cut the extra "development" (as the doctor called it) under her tongue. She screamed and bled and bled and bled. She didn't like having the doctor and nurse put all those things in her mouth! It was kind of hard on mom and dad, but we knew it had to be done and we knew that it would heal in less than a half hour (the miracles of the fast healing mouth). She was happily eating within minutes of the cut and things are just fine now. Her tongue even looks flatter!
Then, we had our first vaccination. Another trying time for mom and dad. Aubrey must have sensed our concern, because she smiled during the whole thing!! She never even cried! The nurse said it was her first 2 month old to not cry. What a champ! She had a great night and no extra problems. What a relief to have the day done!

Yay Aubrey! She seemed just fine by the time we saw her last night. Aunt Katie needs to refine her niece's shopping skills, though...
